Hello
I am Hannah Covington, a 17 year old girl, who is devoted to loving life. I hope to use this site to bring awareness to what it is like to live with a rare health condition, and what it is like being a teenager! hope you can feel related to. I hope you can learn. I hope you can fall in love with life.

My Story
I was born in Albuquerque New Mexico. I moved to Utah when I was 8 years old.
My favorite animal is elephants because I admire their intelligence and resilience. My favorite food is empanadas because it reminds me of my humanitarian trip to Costa Rica where I learned to look outside of myself. My favorite color is pink because it reminds me of my childhood where I believed anything was possible.
Over the past 5 years I have struggled with an autoimmune disease called CRMO. Because of this I have seen many doctors, undergone many tests and treatments, and spent a lot of time in the hospital. Many doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me. Instead of fighting to find a diagnosis for me, they often just told me that nothing was wrong. Finding a doctor who fought for me made all the difference. I reached a diagnosis. I was able to start treatment. I lived with a better quality of life.
I want to pursue a career in medicine so I can be a doctor who fights for my patients.
Right now I am a high school student focusing on academic success with a passion for god, people, and travel.
